What a week(end)! Many thanks to all of the Wisconsin volunteers who helped keep things closer than they might have been otherwise (!), and MAJOR congrats to the Hillary volunteers in Wyoming, who helped deliver an unexpectedly close result! Kudos for all your hard work.
Next up is the NY primary on April 19. Although Hillary is favored, we definitely can’t take anything for granted (plus, wouldn’t a double-digit blowout be nice?). Here are some ideas for getting involved and making it happen:
Find (or host!) events in your area
Phone bank from home — especially key right now for NY and the April 26 states: CT, DE, MD, PA, RI.
Volunteer in your area — as a tip, many states also have a more informal FB page where they’ll post about volunteer opportunities. NY’s is here. There’s also Ready for Hillary Connecticut, Hillary for Delaware, Maryland for Hillary, and Hillary for Rhode Island to get you started. If anyone knows of a group or page for the state of PA, feel free to post below. Otherwise, if you’re looking for PA opportunities, check to see if there’s a Facebook page for your city or county, as there seem to be a number of those.
If you’re already volunteering, tell us all about it below. Any good stories from this week? Tips or encouragement you’d like to share with those who are thinking about getting involved but haven’t taken the plunge yet? Take it away!
