"I'm not voting for President Trump, I'm voting for President Pence." Oh sh**, a sandbagger.

SANDBAGGER:  My family’s term for people who win a card game (in this case, usually a game called “Pitch”) by staying in the background, not risking anything. They never bid if there’s any risk that they could go “set,” meaning they didn’t take as many points as they bid, so they actually lose points.  Sandbaggers can sometimes win by getting a few points from most hands without ever being a leader or actually investing “skin” in the game.  This is Pence.

My conservative friend who said she is actually voting for Pence by voting for the Rump made a couple good points.  She is a one-issue voter: banning abortions.  “It’s all about the Supreme Court,” she asserts.  She says if Trump wins, one of two scenarios will happen.

1) Trump stays in office and acts the buffoon, keeping all the press attention on his antics while Pence, with all the right wing “conservative” folks he wants to pull in, actually runs the government.  A sandbagger president.

2) Trump either resigns or gets impeached.  Pence is then president.

I can’t even stomach the possibility.  Trump runs interference, eliminates all the “regular” conservative candidates who would have been raked over the coals (ie. “vetted”) for months, taking all the heat while stirring the deplorables up.  Then one of the “regular” conservatives who didn’t even try by entering the primary sandbags his way into the presidency.  He wasn’t likely to win his “bid” for re-election as Indiana governor, but could win the presidency by SANDBAGGING.

Why can I not sleep at night with Hillary’s chances of winning at over 80%? Because that’s not high enough.
