My early voting spot at Amelia Earhart Library in North Hollywood Park opened at 8am, so my wife and I thought take our time and show up at around nine after coffee and breakfast. After all, in previous elections it's usually taken all of 15 minutes to get in, vote, and move on with our day. She gets home at 6pm on Tuesday and was worried about reports of long lines so we thought it was best to vote today. When we got here it was far far greater of a turnout than we expected.
I’m currently standing in one of the longest lines I've stood in for any event. Between 750 to 1000 people. This is not Trump country. This is what voter enthusiasm looks like in liberal North Hollywood. Even greater than the historic election of 2008. People taking their free time on a nice sunny day to spend half of it standing in a huge line to cast their vote for Hillary and all the down ballot Democrats, and from what I can tell, very happy to do so. Yes, the millinials are here. All the cool kids are doing it — literally all of them.
Been in line for over an hour and it looks like 2-3 more to go.
