2 cents on Sanders

I don't understand why so many young democrats are upset with Hillary being our nominee. You have to think battle strategy. We need Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren in the Senate to force through progressive legislation for Hillary to sign into law. Sanders is just as much of a bombast as Trump even though he leans to the left. That's not necessarily a bad thing if it's put into a situation where it can effect change. The office of the presidency is not the place where someone as stubborn as Bernie would be effective. The Senate is. He can hold his own easily against the conservative agenda there and actually move things forward knowing that Hillary, as President, is on his side and will sign progressive reforms into law. And we all have to help. The phrase "Vote Blue No Matter Who." needs to be changed to "Vote Blue No Matter What!" Local, state, and national. Get involved and don't go down the road of "I didn't get what I want so now I'm gonna hold my breath till I get it!" We're not spoiled little 4-year-old brats. We are the better part of this country but only if we chose to be and act on it. The time for petty bickering and one-up-man-ship is over. It's time to draw battle lines and think tactics. If you want all of Bernie's dreams for you to come true you need to elect representatives who have the plans, knowledge, and guts to do just that. And with Hillary as president you can count on those dreams getting signed into law.
